My favourite part of the job is meeting clients that are as passionate about their pets as I am about mine.
I originally joined Stabler and Howlett Veterinary Surgeons when I managed the pet shop that was linked to the clinic. This was in the stone ages, before the clinic was rebuilt! Since June 2001, I’ve managed the clinic’s reception.
I really enjoy getting to know each client’s pet, and I’m a strong believer in preventative medicine so any questions you have, I’m more than happy to help out. I’m also the ‘go to’ person for many of our long-standing rural clients, as I’m familiar with them and understand their businesses.
My animal family is extensive – ranging from Irish Setters to ducks and chooks. I’ve owned Irish Setters for 35 years, and I’m a registered breeder. I take great pride in all of the dogs that are born under my kennel name Nanyima. When I’m not at the clinic, I enjoy cooking, mowing the lawn, spending time with my pooches, and relaxing with a red wine in the afternoon.
